海亀 はケイマン諸島のロゴに使われています。その昔コロンブスが
島の近くを通りかかったときに亀を多く見かけた事からケイマン諸島を
Las Tortugasと名づけたのに始まり、その後も多くの船乗り達が亀を求めて
ケイマンを訪れました。今日では島にあるタートル・ファームで14,000-
16,000 匹もの海亀達が飼育・保護されています。

The turtle is a logo of Cayman Islands.  Columbus passed by Cayman
Islands and called them "Las Tortugas" as he saw many turtles there. 
In the past, many sailors came to Cayman Islands for turtles, and
today the Turtle Farm is home to over 14,000-16,000 sea turtles.
