壁画の劣化を防ぐため精巧に作られた複製のＬａｓｃａｕｘＩＩが一般に
公開されている。残念ながら内部は撮影禁止（複製なのに何故？）
この洞窟絵画は紀元前約１５０００年前に描かれたと考えられている。
The cave was accidentally discovered by local boys. The well-made
replicas "Lascaux II" is now open to the public, in order to protect
the paintings of the original cave. Unfortunately no photograph was
allowed inside the Lascaux II (why not!?...after all, it's just a copy..)
This prehistoric paintng is thought to be created around 15000 B.C.
